Number Three Volunteer
Grover, NC
Completed in 2009 to replace an antiquated existing facility, the new station, serves the southern part of Cleveland County and has been a strong presence in the community for many years. The new facility provides the department a 14,000 square foot new home featuring a ten bay truck garage, a day room, men’s and women’s bunk rooms, along with restrooms with showers and a full kitchen.
The station also houses a large training room that can be utilized for fire training needs or public events. To further serve the community, the station has an emergency generator and is a disaster shelter.
