The Kings Road EMS facility serves as a hub for city and county emergency response services. Not only does it house a Cleveland County EMS unit, it also serves as a satellite office for the City of Shelby Police. The double sided bay design allows for quick deployment of emergency vehicles without having to move other vehicles. Included in the 13,000 square foot facility is a bunk room, day room, kitchen and meeting space, along with the truck bays.
