Cleveland Crisis
Shelby, NC
Developed to serve both voluntary and involuntary treatment for substance abuse, the Cleveland Crisis and Recovery Center was facing a crisis with its antiquated and inadequate space for those seeking help with them.
The 11,500 square foot facility provides a warm, inviting environment conducive to counseling and recovery while maintaining a level of security for the safety of the clients as well as the public. Completed in 2011, the program incorporates a carefully arranged exit plan surrounding a central, secure core which includes the central common living spaces.
